St. Laurence School (Lawrence, MA)

stlaurence3St. Laurence O’Toole Church was founded as a mission church of Immaculate Conception Parish for the North Common neighborhood in 1873.  The original church was at the corner of Essex and union Streets.  The church relocated at the intersection of East Haverhill and Newbury Streets in 1904.  The parish started the St. Laurence School in the 1920’s.  The school closed in the late 1970’s.  The structure was redesigned in 2007 to become Our House Center for Design and Technology, a creation of Lawrence Community Works.
