Corriveau Square (Lawrence, MA)

corriveauCorriveau Square is located at the intersection of Hampshire and Alder Streets. It is dedicated to Corporal Robert Daniel Corriveau who served with Company I, 3rd Battalion, US Marines in Vietnam. He was murdered in 1968 in Pennsylvania, but his remains were not identified until 2012 when a DNA match was made. He was returned to Lawrence and buried in Immaculate Conception Cemetery and the square was later dedicated November 8, 2013.
