Perry Square (Lawrence, MA)

perryPerry Square is located at the intersection of Parker and Market Streets in South Lawrence. It is dedicated to World War II Private First Class Raymond J. Perry who died during the Anzio Beachhead Battle in Italy during 1944. Before his participation in World War II he was employed at the Wood Mill. Perry received a Purple Heart Posthumously. He left a wife, Irene (Pelletier) Perry and his mother, Margaret Perry.
