Bunting Bridge (Lawrence, MA)


The Bunting Bridge crosses the Spicket River by way of Lawrence Street. It is named after Samuel Bunting who served in the US Army during World War I. Injuries he suffered during the war contributed to his death in 1933 at the age of 35.

  1. There was/is also the Lucchese Bridge. I believe it’s on Short Street. Last time I was in Lawrence I noticed that the beautiful bronze plaques had been stolen from the bridges which had been dedicated to soldiers.
