Ice on the Great Stone Dam

This collection consists of a CD containing 200 photographs taken in 2008 and 2009 of various sites in the City of Lawrence.  Topics include: the Great Stone Dam (iced clogged and free flowing), Old Everett Mills and chimney, Lawrence Heritage State Park courtyard, burned out Turn Hall, dam on the Spicket River at Memorial Hall Methuen, interior Café Azteca, Prospect Hill water tower, Ayer Mill Clock Tower, mill facades, Haffner’s car wash, Big ‘n Beefy, and Santo Domingo Liquors.

Robin Elizabeth Sandberg Grausam was born in 1978 to Louise Sandberg, archivist of the Lawrence Public Library and Dr, Michael Sandberg.  She graduated from Fitchburg State College in 2001 and presently (2010) work for Tufts Health Plan in Watertown, Mass.  She took up photography seriously in 2008 and has had a number of exhibits of her work.  She was contracted to shoot some images in Lawrence many of which were presented in an exhibit at the Lawrence Public Library in March of 2009.
